I am from airplanes,
and peanuts served with carbonated drinks
I am from four countries,
from Korea to Egypt and Poland.
I am from millions of hello's
and teared-up goodbye's.
Im from stages,
from auditions and competitions.
I am from thick glasses,
from dolls and the playground.
I am from Don't cry! and Stop laughing!
from Calm down! and What's wrong?
I am from my mom, dad, and sister,
from the love they spill out.
I am from the eyes that watch out for me,
and the hands that reach out to me,
letting me grab on and stay safe.
In the corner of my bed is an old teddy bear,
reminding me of past memories
of when I cried and cried holding it firmly.
I can remember those memories
That now complete who I am.
